Terms and Conditions of Use
Welcome to Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio services (the "Services"). You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these Terms and Conditions, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Services and you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Services Provided
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio offers a range of audio recording, mixing, mastering, voiceover, podcast production, and sound design services (collectively, the "Services"). The specific details of each Service, including pricing and scheduling, will be outlined in a separate agreement or invoice provided to you prior to the commencement of the Services.
3. Booking and Payment
All studio time and services must be booked in advance. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Payment terms, including deposit amounts and payment schedules, will be specified in your agreement or invoice. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and electronic bank transfer. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booked time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booked time. We reserve the right to waive cancellation fees in extenuating circumstances, at our sole discretion.
5. Studio Usage
You are responsible for your conduct and the conduct of your guests while in the studio. We expect you to treat the studio equipment and facilities with respect. Any damage to equipment or facilities caused by you or your guests will be your responsibility, and you will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the studio. Food and beverages are allowed in designated areas only. We reserve the right to terminate a session immediately if we deem your behavior to be disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to our equipment or staff.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all original audio recordings and other intellectual property created during your session. However, we retain the right to use excerpts of your recordings for promotional purposes, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing. We will not sell or distribute your recordings to third parties without your explicit consent. Any pre-existing intellectual property brought into the studio by you remains your sole property. We are not responsible for any copyright infringements arising from your use of copyrighted materials during your session.
7. Data Storage and Backup
We will make reasonable efforts to back up your audio recordings and project files. However, we are not responsible for any data loss due to equipment malfunction, natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances. We recommend that you maintain your own backups of all important files. We typically retain project files for 30 days after the completion of your session. After that period, we may delete your files without further notice.
8. Liability Waiver
You agree to release and hold harmless Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the studio facilities or participation in our services. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss. You acknowledge that recording sessions may involve the use of potentially hazardous equipment and that you assume all risks associated with such activities.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes.

13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio with respect to your use of our services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
